FREE SPA TREATMENTS & RUDY'S HAIRCUTS AT ACE PALM SPRINGS
We’ve got a pretty incredible weekend coming up at Ace Hotel Palm Springs. We’re launching a whole new spa with a Full Moon party and spa blessing on Saturday. There will be free spa treatments, a live DJ set, drum circle, art show, pop-up wellness shop and delicious drinks. This kicks off a whole weekend of events. Late night Saturday brings our weekly party with a rotating all-star cast of Downtown LA DJs, Discothèque. And if you’re crawling back to the pool Sunday at the crack of noon, get your hair cut for free by the hair stylist gurus from Rudy’s Barbershop.
See more information about the launch party and art show on our calendar. To book a room for the weekend, visit our reservations page. See you by the pool, with bells on.
Photographer Chase Jarvis will present a slideshow called “Seattle 100” at ExPac 13, our monthly party for Pacific Northwestern expats and those that love them, tonight at 9pm in Liberty Hall at Ace Hotel New York. After Chase’s show, the night continues with good drinks and beats. DJs Sam Hockley-Smith, Rezound and J. Escobedo Shepard spin til 1am.
We really love music and finding new bands to listen to. So, we’re excited to host three days of free, live broadcasts from the lobby of Ace Hotel New York with KEXP and Free Yr Radio this Wednesday through Friday during CMJ. The Drums, Devotchka, Holly Miranda and The Decemberists’ Colin Meloy are playing, plus lots of other rad musicians.
After each day of broadcasts, the fantastic John Richards of KEXP will spin live happy hour sets from 5:30 to 7:30pm in the lobby. We’re also honored to announce that John and his partner Amy — together, Pair Music — are collaborating with Ace to curate playlists for New York and Palm Springs. These people always know how to pick the right song to mysteriously match your mood.
