SMALL BUSINESS SMALL PHOTOBOOTH : ACE HOTEL PORTLAND
We love Portland, Oregon. There are lots of cool people here doing interesting things, in relative peace. We’ll be periodically featuring small businesses we think are rad. If you’re a small business, go to the photobooth at Ace Hotel Portland and then email us and we’ll tell you where to send your photos. Every so often, we’ll select a business to post about. And for our inaugural post, ladies and gentlemen, Elizabeth Cardinal of Superwonderful:

Superwonderful Garden Design is a landscape design and build company located in beautiful Portland, Oregon. I started the company after getting my Masters Degree and ending up behind a desk for two years. I was trained as a gardener and educator at the Franklin Park Conservatory & Botanical Garden in Columbus, Ohio, so I pulled on my rain boots, strapped on my Felco’s and began gardening professionally and studying landscape design. While the business grew, I took on assistants: two skinny but strong fellas — Ben and Scott.  Although the work is back-breaking, most landscapers will tell you they can’t see themselves doing any other job. This is true for me. Dirty hands, sunburnt cheeks, and a satisfying feeling of watching something that you have created provide beauty, food, habitat, and spaces to gather is quite the experience.
