Today marks the launch of Madison Square Park Conservancy’s summer public exhibition with Spanish sculptor Jaume Plensa. Echo constitutes Plensa’s NYC public art debut — the 44’ sculpture represents everyday people in the form of the nine year-old daughter of a restauranteur near Plensa’s home in Barcelona, examining the intersection of the human form, language and communication and global citizenship.
You can take your lunch with this tranquil young lady every afternoon through August 14.
