Our friends Pink Martini have just released a new music video for “Tuca Tuca.” The song, accompanied by an “amorous and provocative” dance, was first made popular in 1970 by Italian singing legend Raffaella Carrá. The video for the Pink Martini’s version was made by Portland’s Grow Film Co. and shot on 8mm film during the band’s last European tour. It chronicles Pink Martini & friends as they “introduce” the Tuca Tuca to audiences (and strangers) in Italy, France and Spain. And as video states “The ‘Tuca Tuca’ allowed everyone to get to know their neighbor a little bit better…”
