We traversed the rocky waters of the New York Harbor to Governors Island for a game of badminton with Recess New York in June’s first days of summer — our team played last year, too. Tomorrow afternoon, we’ll be throwing down our jock gauntlet at Chelsea Waterfront park for the 10th annual Adidas Fanatic/X Soccer Tournament. Stay tuned for shots of our blood, sweat and tears and watch us flatten our challengers with nary a glance.

We’re playing in a big badminton game on Governors Island this weekend. Ride over on the ferry to hear music, eat food, drink refreshing things, be merry, and see us in our fancy badminton outfits.
