These are our latest cooperative take on Churchill’s classic Maverick motorcycle gloves, made by hand in their Centralia, Washington factory. They’ve been glovemaking since 1897 and they’ve really got the hang of it. They’re hand-sewn from prime deerskin leather, in black with palm pads, suede thumbs and wrist straps with burnished brass snaps.
It’s Cyber Monday. Who made it up? We don’t know, but we’re ready to celebrate robots and shopping and everything cyber, right along with the best of them. To celebrate we’re taking twenty pennies off the dollar on everything at our online shop through tonight at midnight, Pacific Standard.
This shirt has something to do with the way New York makes us feel — anonymous but familiar, lost at sea and unmistakably at home. We made it so we can hang out with you in strange places even if we’re not there. Creepy? You decide. Friendly and decidedly unstrange deals on our shop through Monday at midnight.
Our new dopp kit with Beckel Canvas — Portland handcrafters of custom tents — is so sturdy you could live in it, and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than rent. Even more so through Monday, when everything is ten cents off the dollar on our online shop through Monday at midnight.
Ebbets Field Flannels is an American business still run by its original founders. Having adorned the likes of Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford and other legends on the last day Yankee Stadium held its doors open, Ebbets Field is still committed to bringing the quality, beauty and craftsmanship of mid-Century American athletic garments into the twenty-first century. We’re proud to have worked with them on a series of hats representing our stomping grounds in Portland, Seattle, Palm Springs and New York City. Each one sports our local area code and a whole helluva lotta hometown love, made in the USA.
We’re knocking ten cents off every dollar on our shop through Monday at midnight, so catch as catch can.
The frenzy has begun. Eager shoppers have been lined up at the gates of our online shop for two days, and are, as we speak, tearing goods off the shelves into their carts. It is complete madness. Lucky for you, the same spoils can be had from the peaceful confines of your own, gravy-and-cranberry-encrusted home. Do the dishes later and just hang out with us for a bit. We’ve got a friendly deal going on the shop through Monday, or, if you don’t feel like stuffing stockings, you can just have a good read and zone out on our blog while your body deals with all that tryptophan and grog.
Behold the wild leather daddies of Tanner Goods who are heavy into the scene. They’ve created a new fall collection with us just in time for the season of Dead Poets Society meets Village People meets Sartorialist meets Karlheinz Weinberger garb and furnishings. A season for popping your collar against the brisk wind with an entourage of fine leather goods in your pockets. Stuff your own or another’s stockings with these guys — they’re built to last forever, because that’s something we’re into bringing back.
We’ve curated a handful of holiday bundles from collaborations and favorites on our online shop, and added custom gift wrapping and some special new goodies including smaller things for stuffing stockings and impressing the stockings off of anyone you admire. Bundles include the new Rudy’s Barbershop skateboard deck, Ace x Impossible Film & Starter Kits, Swim Club gear, Pendleton blankets and custom Dean Markley guitar strings. The gift wrapping is made from our silkscreened black striped kraft wrapping paper and a hand-printed message on paper ephemera culled from vintage encyclopedias, National Geographics and Arizona Highway magazines.
We hope your season is filled with friendship, joy and warmth. Let the circus begin.
Content 11 caught on Ace x Impossible film. If you missed the installations or weren’t able to make it to the pop-up shop before your favorite things sold out — lots of our Content artists are offering a friendly deal to Ace Portland guests through December.
