Ace Hotel

This Saturday the team from Ace Hotel & Swim Club is participating in The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. The donations they raise will support education about prevention and early detection, support survivors and families, fund research, and rally support for the fight against cancer. But doing the relay together is the true experience - this event gives people the chance to remember loved ones, feel the power of support and enthusiasm, and have fun together.

To learn more, or donate to the team, visit the Ace Hotel & Swim Club Relay for Life Team page.

Also, the Ace NYC team is running a half marathon in April to support Hope Lodge in NYC, which offers free living spaces for cancer patients and their families when they travel to New York for treatment. See our post about it here.

The Ace Hotel New York team is running a half marathon in April to support Hope Lodge in NYC, which offers free living spaces for cancer patients and their families when they travel to New York for treatment. Someone described it as “a free hotel, but for cancer patients.” Hope Lodge is that and more. They also provide meditation spaces, yoga classes, a grand piano, full kitchens, and community support to their guests.

Several battle-hardened Ace Hotel and American Cancer Society employees have taken it upon themselves to run the 13.1 Marathon New York on April 3rd. (R)ACE FOR HOPE plans to raise more than $5,000 to support this amazing organization, guided by our fearless leaders, Jan and Rob.

We’re committed to helping our community and we’re running so that Hope Lodge can continue to provide these critical services to patients and their caregivers.

We’re also hoping to get photos of Jan and Rob in running shorts. Stay tuned for that.
