Ghost Writer

Beatriz Zayas won our contest for Karen Elson tickets with her haiku based on Karen’s The Ghost Who Walks. Read it and weep:

futility love

took her trust then took her life

her ghost walks the night

Karen Elson played some songs today for a few friends in a loft suite at Ace New York. Karen recently met with Vogue at The Breslin about her shoot with Annie Leibovitz. She said Ace NYC “feels like home.” We’re glad because we feel that way, too.
She’s also playing a show at Webster Hall Saturday, and we’re giving away two free tickets. Send us a haiku based on her song The Ghost Who Walks through the contact form by Saturday afternoon and include your full name. We’ll let you know if you’ve won.
