Ebbets Field Flannels is an American business still run by its original founders. Having adorned the likes of Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford and other legends on the last day Yankee Stadium held its doors open, Ebbets Field is still committed to bringing the quality, beauty and craftsmanship of mid-Century American athletic garments into the twenty-first century. We’re proud to have worked with them on a series of hats representing our stomping grounds in Portland, Seattle, Palm Springs and New York City. Each one sports our local area code and a whole helluva lotta hometown love, made in the USA.
We’re knocking ten cents off every dollar on our shop through Monday at midnight, so catch as catch can.

The frenzy has begun. Eager shoppers have been lined up at the gates of our online shop for two days, and are, as we speak, tearing goods off the shelves into their carts. It is complete madness. Lucky for you, the same spoils can be had from the peaceful confines of your own, gravy-and-cranberry-encrusted home. Do the dishes later and just hang out with us for a bit. We’ve got a friendly deal going on the shop through Monday, or, if you don’t feel like stuffing stockings, you can just have a good read and zone out on our blog while your body deals with all that tryptophan and grog.

New York friends Martin Carvajal and Ben Ferencz of FairEnds set up shop in Montana making headwear “for those who dream fully, and for those who believe adventure comes at any moment.” We like that so we made a hat with them. The Ace Hotel & Swim Club x FairEnds Five-Panel Camp Hat (whew!) is built from durable cotton twill with a vegetable-tanned, adjustable leather strap and antique brass clasp in back with an Ace Swim Club meets San Jacintos logo twill label in front. Pick one up in red, white or blue on our shop.

Punky Brewster taught us that feet are made for flossing the inimitable, unmatchable quintessence of you-ness. In that spirit, we present you with three colorways of the Ace Hotel x Generic Surplus Borstal Shoe by Steven Harrington (long ass name), meant for mixing and matching as summer lulls into its balmy dusk. Now up on our shop.

Our friends at Commune made this washed painter’s linen throw for us with metallic stitching — distressed just a bit, it wears its weather with a humble grace. In rooms at Ace Hotel & Swim Club, it hangs on slatted walls next to the walking sticks and robes and letters from home. The original batch had frayed edges — these new iterations require some rough love to reach that point. If you like a more perfect finishing, then no assembly is required.
Pick one up on our shop so you may unfurl o’er your own inner sanctum or lay down on the lea where you cross-leggedly concur with the breeze.

We’re a loyal crew, and we’ll be disciples of the Big Apple til our last breath. This is our favorite city on earth, and we just can’t seem to stop writing its name all over our notebooks with hearts and arrows. The Midtown Tote is a slightly more subtle version of that. It will serve you well (and tastefully) to and from the farmer’s market, the laundromat, the park, the beach and the river. In black with white script, and natural with black script — now on our online shop.

Our dear and brilliant friend, Chantale Doyle, is a curator, collector and life-liver of the highest order. Her shop, Mt. Fuji General Store, has emboldened and inspired the Joshua Tree creative community, not to mention many travelers and wanderers, for years as Chantale spent five summer the last five years traveling twenty-four US states and three Canadian provinces (not to mention Ace Palm Springs for a few pop-up shops) in her vegetable oil-converted VW bus creating an awe-inspiring collection of vintage goods. Now, she’s set up shop at Reform School on Sunset and Hyperion in Silverlake, LA with YES — do yourself an enormous favor and catch a glimpse of Chantale’s unexpected selection of vintage and new men’s and women’s clothes, accessories, eyewear and treasures — like these hand-beaded VANS made exclusively for YES by BrownBeaded — before it’s rampaged. She’s hosting an opening party this Saturday, June 30 from 7-10pm and you’re invited. See what’s in store (see what we did there?) here.

The friendly gents at Hammarhead Industries introduced us to Churchill Gloves, and the friendship turned into these motorcycle gloves for Beams Japan. Hammarhead made a short film about the spiritual and cultural DNA of Churchhill, and we thought you’d enjoy it as much as we did.
